Former *Nsync member Chris Kirkpatrick is now a proud papa for the first time!
Kirkpatrick and his wife Karly happily welcomed their first child on October 10th. The couple was married about four years ago, and had wanted to have kids fairly quickly.
Kirkpatrick said in 2013 that "Karly wants to have kids really quickly, so we're going to do that. That's our plan. We're definitely ready to have children - we both want them."
They revealed they were having a child in March by editing a movie poster. They used the poster for The Boss Baby and instead added "Baby Kirkpatrick" to the poster with a note saying "Coming October 2017".
Both new parents have been excited for their child to be born. "Karly and I are over the moon excited that we are welcoming a new addition to the family," Kirkpatrick said to People Magazine. "We are both looking forward to becoming parents, and learning how much fun having a child will be."
They revealed the gender back in May in a unique way. They had balloons filled with paint and he shot them with his crossbow to reveal they are having a boy.
But now the baby boy has finally arrived! And the couple handled it in the best way possible...
Labor is not easy, but apparently being married to Chris Kirkpatrick means that at least it will be a little bit silly. While Karly was in labor, Chris decided to have a little fun while he waited for his son to arrive.
In a goofy image, he climbed onto the bed and pretended like he was the baby. It's hard to explain, but his patient wife looks like she finds it funny.
Baby Kirkpatrick was born in Nashville, Tennesse. He was given the name Nash Dylan Kirkpatrick. He weighs 8 lbs., 9 oz. and was 19.5 inches.
The proud parents were ecstatic that everything went well. Chris shared the image of his wife and son with a very sweet message. "So proud of [Karly]! She is the real Wonder Woman! Welcome our new edition Nash Dylan Kirkpatrick!!!!"
